Ben Tschetter is a native of Champaign, Illinois and a graduate from the University of Illinois. He loves capturing the lives, essence, and vision of human beings through images, film, and design.

Margo is Ben’s beloved wife, helper, editor, and occasional second-shooter. She gained interest in photography through Ben, and became a fast learner and a natural!

When she joins a session, she helps clients feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and her background in posing dancers for photos has given her an eye for quality poses so you can look your very best in photos.

Behind the scenes, she is an excellent editor who gives photos the perfect final touches and a professional, polished look.

She brings joy, comfort, and conversation to sessions, will help put you at ease, and makes our workspaces a brighter place!

God has given me this small platform with my work, and whether you’re a committed client, or just checking out my website, I don’t want to miss an opportunity to share the powerful message of Jesus Christ with you! I hope you read my short message below!

Jesus is the one true God, and Creator of our incredible world, including each and every one of us (- human beings, created in His image, with every single person unique and beautiful). He came down to Earth as a real man, lived a perfect life, was tortured and hung on a cross to receive the punishment for all of our sins. He descended into hell, but proved His power and glory when He was raised from the dead 3 days later. Then, He ascended into Heaven where He lives forever! Through Jesus Christ and His grace given to us - His fallen people - we have hope if we receive the greatest gift of all, which is completely FREE - eternal life with Him!

Jesus said “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6). No matter who you are, how bad you think you are, or where you’ve been, you can be part of God’s family and receive His FREE gift of everlasting life if you (Romans 10:9):

• Confess with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord”, and you

• Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) Every one of us is a sinner, but God loves every one of us, died for us, and desires for us to be reconciled with HIm.

Our time on this Earth is fleeting and is shorter than the blink of an eye, in comparison to eternity! None of this is fiction! There is evidence of Jesus’ life on Earth. We can see His creation all around us, from the complexity of every person’s unique DNA, to the perfect systems in constant motion in this world, to the beauty and detail of nature. If we follow Him, we have hope and purpose through Jesus Christ. I hope, more than anything, that you find Him and invite Him into your heart, to be the King of your life! Freedom & true life are found in Him!

  • I have different prices for each service I offer (Sessions start at just $150). Custom prices will occasionally vary if the shoot is something out of the ordinary, but I generally have set rates for typical photoshoots, and other services. If you have specific requests for your photo session, I am happy to work out a custom package to fit your needs. I like to chat with clients (aka my new friends - aka you) before I share my rates, so I can understand a bit more about what you are wanting. Please inquire about your creative needs and I promise to give you the best photos around for the price!

    Short answer: My prices are hidden, but please contact me, let me know what you are wanting, and I can provide rates.

  • You can contact me through the above form, or through my Facebook page. We will then chat about what you are looking for and how we can make the photos happen, including date, time, and location(s). Next, I will send you a contract and collect a deposit (I accept cash, paypal, or venmo for payment). I will collect the remaining amount on the day of the shoot. Once I receive both the contract and deposit, you will be on the calendar! It’s as simple as that. I’m very flexible to fit your needs!

    Short answer: Contact me, schedule the shoot together, I send you contract, you send me signed contract and deposit, you’re booked!

  • If you are already here, it means you are curious, and you are in the right place! I will help you create images that will meet your requirements and your vision, whatever that may be. I have countless hours (years) of professional experience and education that your friend with a phone camera probably doesn’t have. I also have high-end equipment to deliver stunning quality to you with each photo you receive. Hiring a professional photographer means having me there to capture your special moments, taking away the hassle of a chaotic photoshoot or missing out on what’s in front of you in the present moment. And it means a better way of capturing a memory that will last a lifetime.

    Short answer: I will help take away the hassle or confusion of a chaotic photoshoot, deliver higher quality images than any phone or casual equipment could offer, and give you stunning images so you can relive special memories for years to come.

  • We have dealt with this before, and trust me - it’s no problem at all! We are very lighthearted and welcoming to everyone we work with. We like to get to know you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. My wife and assistant, Margo, typically poses clients, while I am behind the camera. Even the people who were most shy in front of a camera have warmed up to us and became natural in front of the lens by the end of the shoot. Don’t be worried - come ready to have fun! We promise you will be much better than you think.

    Short answer: We are great at putting people at ease and promise you’ll do great. Come and have fun with us!

  • We have different equipment to fit various photographic needs. We shoot with high end camera equipment to deliver the highest quality final results back to you. We are currently equipped with a Canon R5 mirrorless camera, and a Canon 5D Mk IV full-frame DSLR camera, and a variety of quality lenses and accessories.

    Short answer: Our cameras are the Canon R5 and Canon 5D Mk IV with high quality lenses for high quality images.

  • I will absolutely travel for photography that is further than 30 minutes away, as long as additional necessary expenses are also covered. Out of town graduation? Awesome! Brand collab near you? Let’s do it! Destination wedding? I’m there! If you are further away but love my work - I am honored, and would love to bring my talents to you! Please message me, and let’s make it happen.

    Short answer: Yes, as long as it’s additionally covered!

  • I make a strong effort to have some of the best turnaround time around! At most, during my busiest seasons, your photos will be returned to you within two and a half weeks from the day you’ve sent back your selected photos. However, I’m usually too excited to see your photos to wait long, and especially during less busy seasons, they can often be fully edited and returned within a day or two!

    Short answer: Somewhere between that day and 2.5 weeks (depending on schedule). Likely sooner than later.

  • We are human and things happen! Ideally we let each other know at least 3 days prior, but if something happens sooner, I can still be flexible. If something happens on my side or yours, and we need to reschedule, we can find a make up date in the near future.

    Short answer: We can find a make-up date. Don’t sweat it!

  • Each photo package includes a different amount of photos. Please inquire to learn more. The most basic photography package starts at 15 photos, but extra photos can always be purchased at an additional cost. Your fully edited photos are delivered back to you digitally, via Google Drive.
